So, we’re living on Long Island, NY– and we just came thru Hurricane Irene relatively unscathed. crazeeHeads is on the north shore of Long Island, so we didn’t get hit as hard as others living on the south shore.
Port Washington had a voluntary evacuation… but we always get flooded, even though it might be a rainstorm! Luckily for us, the only damage we had was that we heard dripping from our attic– and when we went up to look, it felt like it was drizzling inside! How bizarre. We’ll have to check again when everything dries out.
